The Julliard School is a top classical flute school
The world-renown Julliard School's woodwind department enjoys an outstanding reputation, attracting talented young musicians from around the world. The department’s faculty members include distinguished soloists and principal chair holders in the New York Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, and Philadelphia Orchestra.
Flute students at The Juilliard School work closely with impressive faculty artists Carol Wincenc, Sandra Miller, Robert Langevin, and Jeffrey Khaner. Students have many performance opportunities such as concerto competitions, Juilliard's annual ChamberFest series in addition to the school's numerous orchestras, chamber groups, and new music ensembles.
